Temelleri 90'lı yıllarda atılmış Farm Tasarım arkasında 30 yıllık tasarım ve tasarım danışmanlığı birikimi ile tasarım dünyasına girerek hedef büyütmüştür.
Bu birikim, oyuncak, sağlık, elektronik, medikal ekipman, teknoloji, mobilya, marka geliştirme, mutfak gereçleri, sistem tasarımları gibi birçok alanda tasarım ve Ar-Ge çalışmaları içermektedir. Firma ulusal ve uluslararası pazarlarda yer bulan ve seri üretime giren sayısız ürün hayata geçirmiştir.
Farm-design'ın tasarım prensiplerinden biri de firmaların markalaşmalarına destek olacak ürünler ortaya koymaktır. Ürünün tasarım sürecinin önemli bir kısmını, çalıştığımız firmaların karakterlerinin analiz edilmesi, hedeflerinin hem piyasa hem de kullanıcı ölçeğinde belirlenmesi, tek bir ürün ile değil, kapsamlı bir portfolyo ile katkıda bulunulması ve firmaların önemli atılımlarını temsil edecek yaklaşımların belirlenmesi oluşturmaktadır.

Farm-design, the roots of which goes back to the 90s, entered the world of design with 30 years of experience in design and design consultancy. This experience includes Design and Research & Development in various fields including toys, health, electronics, medical equipment, technology, furniture, brand development, kitchen utensils, and systems design.
The company, has successfully completed the design of many products which are today mass produced and sold all around the world. One of the objectives of the firm is to support the development of companies through branding with innovative design.
One of the most important part of design process includes the analysis of the characteristics of the company for which the design is made, to identify their objectives, to create a portfolio rather than a singular product and identify targets that will carry the company forward.
Through such an approach to design, Farm-design established the position of an industrial design as a well-equiped specialist who can contribute in every stage of production. Farm-design achieved a pioneering success not only in industry but also in the field of Industrial Design.

Murat Erciyas is a product and furniture designer. He received his degree from the Department of Industrial Design at METU in 1993.
He worked in the United States as a designer between 1995-1999. His career in the US began as a designer and prototype maker with David Eyman at the FireHouse Design Team, Cincinnati. He then, served as the assistant to the Chief Theatre Stage Designers at the University of Cincinnati. At Wood, Herron & Evans, a Patent Law Firm, he got involved in the development and legalization of many inventions of the late 1990s.
After his return to Turkey, he became the Design and R&D Manager at Nurus, a leading office furniture company.
In 2004, he established his design company (farm-design) in order to meet the increasing need of inventive, patented products of Turkish industry. He has been providing design and design consultancy to office, home, education, health companies within the top 50 highest revenue companies. Almost 50% of contemporary products in the office furniture sector are designed by Murat Erciyas.
At farm-design innovation and client needs blend into products that please the customers and lead the companies to greater profits. Murat Erciyas promises not only to design new products but also to introduce pioneering and successful projects that suits the production capability of individual firms and their customer profiles. His success is also the result of his broad scope of knowledge in worldwide quality standards like ISO, BIFMA, FIRA and his ability to apply those standards to his products from presentation to production.
